Hair accessories win the spotlight at NYFW SS 2017

When makeup is kept pared down, hair wins the stage and during this SS 2017 New York Fashion Week, the accessories seen on models' head were endless. From wide and dyed bandannas atBaja East to Thakoon's high-gloss "wet, wet, wet" twisted messy knots that recalled 9-year-old Christy Turlington sitting coolly before Herb Ritts’s lens, the Nineties touch was pretty evident. Still, ballerina buns were not missing but were taken to a new level at Ryan Roche were James Pecis wrapped pieces of rough-ended silk between models' hair to create an intricate yet ethereal updo. Things were kept more classic at Adam Selman were hair was embellished withvelvet and plexiglass barrettes while at Tibi hair was tied in a low ponytail with... a belt!

Plenty of option for everyone, and NYFW is not finished yet.
