Individuality to stand out of the crowd at NYFW SS2016

Individuality was the buzzword backstage at NYFW for SS2016. Makeup artists, hair stylists and designers were on the same trend altogether with the only aim to vanquish the army of look-a-like models we were used to see on catwalks. For the next season, beauty will therefore support each women features, sometimes enhancing the eyes with bold eyeliners or aquatic colours and sometimes coloring the lips, but the real “individuality” trend was all about “no-makeup”, something that can be translated in raw and undone, a look made of glowy, dewy skin achieved only with moisturizer and paired with some basic grooming like concealer where needed, enhanced brows and some glossy highlights (or a slight strobe effect).
