NARS VELVET SKIN TINT: the matte foundation with the glow!

In fact, NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint texture is light and comfortable, easy to blend with just fingertips, evens out the skin blurring lines and pores and covering redness (for blemishes you have to call in a proper concealer, though). When it dries down it doesn’t look flat or chalky and leaves a velvety finish that is like skin but better and that really feels weightless. What it does is to deliver a blur effect just reflecting the light thanks to the Velvet Illusion Complex and its Transparent Blurring Powders*. Moreover, the lasting power is impressive, a little goes long way and holds through the day without fading or creasing. The coverage is medium but buildable.
Truth to be told, NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint not only acts as a skin perfecter, it also has the added benefit of minimizing pores and controlling shine thanks to a Rose Fruit Extract and of protecting the skin from environmental stress with Vitamins C and E and SPF 30.
As far as I’m concerned it’s pretty near perfect. My skin feels fresh and looks natural and youthful.

Finalmente NARS Cosmetics ha lanciato Velvet Matte Skin Tint, un’innovativa formula leggerissima con effetto soft-matte che uniforma l’incarnato in tutta naturalezza. È la nuova sorprendente idea di François Nars che, anche questa volta, non si smentisce e punta a soddisfare le esigenze di tutte le donne: chi ha la pelle grassa può finalmente sfoggiare un fondotinta senza oli che assorbe il sebo senza sacrificare la luminosità del finish; chi invece ha la pelle secca può giocare con una texture che, normalmente, avrebbe asciugato troppo l'epidermide; infine, le ragazze sempre di corsa possono contare su una soluzione rapida che coniuga un risultato impeccabile con i benefici di un trattamento skincare.
Ma andiamo nel dettaglio.
La texture del Velvet Matte Skin Tint di NARS è leggera e confortevole, è facile da applicare con la sola punta delle dita e si fonde perfettamente con la pelle uniformandola. Le rughe sottili e le linee di espressione vengono sfumate, i pori dilatati scompaiono e gli arrossamenti sono mimetizzati (per i brufoletti ci vuole però un correttore più coprente). Il finish non è assolutamente piatto ne’ gessoso, bensì vellutato per un effetto la-mia-pelle-ma-più-bella, il tutto grazie alla tecnologia “Velvet Illusion COmplex” e alle sue “Transparent Blurring Powders” che sfumano i difetti con il solo aiuto della luce riflessa. Inoltre, nonostante una volta applicato il Velvet Matte Skin Tint non si senta addosso, la sua durata è impressionante, tiene tutto il giorno senza sbiadire o raccogliersi nelle pieghe. La copertura è di media ma modulabile.
Last but not least, NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint non solo agisce come perfezionatore della pelle, ma ha anche il vantaggio di ridurre al minimo i pori e controllare l’effetto lucido grazie all’estratto di cinorrodo e di proteggere la pelle dallo stress ambientale con grazie alle Vitamine C ed E e al fattore di protezione solare SPF 30.
