Truth to be told, even if it is called Healthy Glow Foundation it is more than that, is an evanescent veil of freshness that enhances your skin in total discretion, you know the foundation is there, you know that is doing his job but sometime you just have to check it because you can't feel it. At all. How many times have you read the sentence ”this foundation is like a second skin"? Well, with Chanel's Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation it will be like having just your skin: you can feel it breathe. Moreover, skincare meets makeup in this groundbreaking foundation with a formula* that preserve the skin’s natural beauty, acting as a moisturizer and as an antioxidant, encouraging oxygenation and providing SPF 25 UV.
I consider it a complexion enhancer, a veil of freshness that delivers a spontaneous sophistication.
Said that, the finish really is glowing, but not a dewy kind of glow, a velvety one that make skin looks like satin. The texture is like a cream and can be applied easily with fingers to better build up the desired finish from an evanescent veil of light to a more sophisticated look. It also does work as a concealer, you just have to deep the right brush in a tiny bit of foundation and dab it on the imperfections or mix it with Chanel's Hydra Beauty Gel Yeux to cover dark circles. I also find that works pretty well on lids when you are looking for a no-makeup makeup look. The lasting power is pretty good, it adapt to all weather conditions and greatly resists sweat and sebum.
Overall I am fully satisfied with this foundation and you can find out why in the pictures below. It really does it all. The complexion is healthy, flawless, sheer. Never greasy, always luminous. It glows with vitality all day long. To achieve this finish I did not use anything but the Healthy Glow Foundation, no concealers, no highlighters, no blush or bronzer. No tricks, in fact. Only this wonderful Les Beiges foundation, a line of eyeliner and a coat of mascara. A perfect look for all day long.

Consideratelo un sublimatore del colore. L’aspetto è naturale, luminoso e al contempo vellutato, quasi trasformasse l’incarnato in un velo di satin. Non è un “fondotinta” seconda pelle, è una texture ultrafine che si fonde con essa, facendola respirare per tutto il giorno. Les Beiges Teint Belle Mine Naturelle c’è ma non si vede, ne’ si sente. Infatti, una volta applicato con la sola punta delle dita (evviva!) bisogna guardarsi allo specchio per ricordarsi di averlo addosso e lui resiste tutto il giorno, si adatta alle condizioni climatiche e non teme sebo e sudore. Inoltre, può essere modulato a piacere con facilità e passare da una coprenza evanescente a una più sofisticata, può coprire le imperfezioni (consiglio l’uso di un pennello apposito) e rinfrescare lo sguardo facendo sparire le occhiaie. Provate ad usarlo anche sulla palpebra al posto del primer e ne rimarrete sorprese.
Overall io sono pienamente soddisfatta di questo fondotinta e potete scoprire il risultato foto qui sotto. Il colorito è sano, uniforme, trasparente. Mai lucido, sempre luminoso. La pelle brilla di vitalità. Per ottenerlo non ho usato altro che il fondotinta Les Beiges Teint Belle Mine Naturelle, niente correttori, niente illuminanti, niente terre o blush. Niente trucchi, insomma. Solo la magia firmata Chanel, una riga di eyeliner e il mascara. Un look perfetto per tutto il giorno.
Scegliete la vostra tonalità fra le 14 della palette e optate per una più chiara per un effetto belle mine luminoso, una tono su tono per una maggiore naturalezza e una più scura per un glow baciato dal sole.
*Andiamo per punti. Il finish luminoso è donato dall’Healthy Glow Booster, un pigmento minerale che crea un riflesso in superficie dando vita a un velo di luce fresco e dalle sfumature rosate. A questa innovazione sono state aggiunte delle polveri soft focus che uniformano e sublimano il colorito in trasparenza. L’aspetto è naturale, ma sofisticato e la pelle respira come fosse nuda. L’estratto di kalanchoe fa si che la pelle si adatti a tutte le condizioni climatiche, idratandola, favorendone l’ossigenazione e agendo come antiossidante.
