Less is More: Les Intemporels de Chanel

Facciamocene una ragione, quando Chanel lancia una delle sue limited edition è difficile resistergli. Se poi questa collezione - che prende il nome di Les Intemporels de Chanel - è talmente esclusiva da essere composta da soli due prodotti è fatta. Less is more, come si suol dire, e tanto meglio se questo less racchiude in sé tutto ciò che di intramontabile e intemporel c’è nel makeup: una palette di 5 ombretti dai toni ultra classici del nero opaco, del prugna e del verde e del bianco argentato e dell’oro, e uno smalto, imprescindibilmente metallizzato. Non per niente l’ispirazione dietro a Les Intemporels de Chanel è la 2.55, l’iconica borsa creata da Coco Chanel, la cui catena si riconosce nel motivo in rilievo sulla palette occhi L’Intemporel de Chanel e nei riflessi argentei dello smalto Le Vernis Intemporel. Una borsa dalla connotazione evergreen, nata nel Febbraio del 1955 (da qui il nome, 2.55), che si rispecchia a perfezione nei prodotti esclusivi della collezione Les Intemporels de Chanel, disponibili - quasi a volerne celebrare i 60 Anni - dal 6 Febbraio solo ed esclusivamente presso La Rinascente di Milano.

Let’s face it, when Chanel launches one of its Limited Edition collections is hard to resist it; moreover if this collection - named Les Intemporels de Chanel - is so exclusive to be composed by only two products, it’s done. We’ll buy it for sure. Less is more, as it’s said, and we love it already, especially if in this “less” is included the best of timeless (intemporel) make-up: a gorgeous collector’s palette featuring a range of rich and bold colours - including forest green, black, purple, shimmering white and gold - and an exclusive new shade of nail varnish in a stunning silver. Indeed, Les Intemporels de Chanel is inspired by Mademoiselle Coco's iconic 2.55 bag, which famous chain is recognizable in the metallic glimmer of the Le Vernis in Intemporel and in the surface effect across the colour palette Le Intemporel de Chanel. 

It seems to me the perfect way to celebrate the 2.55’s 60th anniversary

(For those who didn’t know the 2.55 bag was born in February 1955, hence the name 2.55).
