To create a thick line that ends with a cat flick - use the flat side of the brush.
Start at the inner corner of the eye and draw a line that end few millimeters before the point where you want your flick to start. Then, tilt the pen a few degrees upward and draw a short stroke towardsthe outer corner of your eyebrow.

While looking into a mirror, tilt your head back a little to better see your lash line.
Starting from the inner corner of the eye, draw a line throughout the length of your lashes.
If you are not confident in tracing only one stroke you can start at outer corner of eye and draw a line to the middle of the lash line, then repeat from inner corner of the eye, connecting to the first line.
