HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT TIGHTLINER WITH THE NEW CLINIQUE SKINNY STICKS

Well, translating from the makeup artisst language to ours, it is the best way to open your eyes and make them big and dazzling without a trace of any obvious makeup: with the right pencil like the new Clinique Skinny Stick, tightlining is now a lot easier and it’s just a matter of wiggling the fine pencil tip back and forth in between lashes to fill in gaps as well as carefully tracing it along your upper waterline.
Clinique Skinny Stick formula is perfect for the job: even if it’s not waterproof it is really long-lasting, its colour is rich and luminous and - being made in Clinique - is ophthalmology tested, allergy tested and 100% fragrance free (which is a big plus if you are wearing eye contacts) and you can apply it even in the waterlines which, for instance, is the first step in creating your tightliner. Indeed lining your top waterline is fundamental to make your eyes pop: just hold your Clinique Skinny Stick vertically and trace it back and forth under your lashes.
Beyond the formula, the other appealing plus of Clinique Skinny Stick is the ultra-fine tip (the finest on the market!) that is so precise to be perfect to darken the roots of the lashes: just pull your top lid taut by pressing one finger on the outer corner, nestle the tip of Clinique Skinny Stick into your lashes at the outer corner and wiggle it back and forth as you move inwards. You can decide to stop in the middle of your eye - like I did - or to go further towards the inner corner, just remember to stop before it otherwise you will get the opposite result and your eyes will seems smaller.

Traducendo dal linguaggio dei makeup artists, il tightliner è il modo migliore per aprire gli occhi e renderli più grandi e luminosi, il tutto senza nessuna traccia di trucco evidente. Il segreto sta nel disegnare con una matita dalla punta sottile, come i nuovissimi Skinny Sticks di Clinique, una linea fra le radici delle ciglia per colmarne i vuoti e renderle più folte e poi sottolineare con attenzione la rima lacrimale superiore per definire lo sguardo. Due passaggi all’apparenza semplici ma che richiedono mano ferma e il giusto alleato come Skinny Stick di Clinique.
Infatti, mai matita si era rivelata più adatta per questo lavoro di precisione. I nuovi Skinny Sticks hanno a loro vantaggio il fatto di avere un diametro di 1/3 inferiore rispetto a quello delle matite tradizionali, il che consente un’applicazione più precisa in prossimità della rima ciliare, donando alle ciglia un aspetto più pieno e folto. Poi, la texture, oltre a essere ultra-pigmentata per donare un look definito, scorre facilmente e rende l’applicazione rapida e indolore (a qualcuno può dare fastidio il solletico di un lungo andirivieni fra le ciglia).
