Ellis Faas' innovative beauty tutorial
Forget the average beauty tutorial. In less than two minutes this amazing video, created by Duch make-up artist Ellis Faas in collaboration with I LOVE YOU Magazine and directed by Thalia de Jong, packs more creativity and beauty art than everything shown 'til now. Rhythm, color, inspirations and magnificent products create a new incredible format that shows multiple steps on the same screen so you can see in a glance how the beauty look evolves (and if you have any doubts you just need to pause it). The result is a quirky dalliance of blinking eyes and moving lips, that utter the words “I Love You”. In perfect line with the motion, we hear body beatbox by Flavia Faas, the daughter of Ellis Faas.
The best part, in my opinion, is the final one, where Ellis shows us a incredible variation on the black eyeliner. Just what we needed to satisfy the new eyeliner mania.

Ritmo, colori, ispirazioni e magnifici prodotti creano un nuovo incredibile formato che mostra i vari step del trucco in una sola schermata, in modo che in un'occhiata si possa vedere come si evolve magicamente il beauty look (e mettere in pausa per un'analisi più approfondita). Il risultato è un flirt di occhiolini e labbra che sussurrano I Love You a ritmo del beatbox creato da Flavia Faas, figlia di Ellis.
Tutto il filmato è un'ode al make-up ma la parte migliore e più impressive è l'ultima, dove Ellis ci mostra uno studio approfondito sull'uso dell'eye-liner: proprio quello che ci serviva per sbizzarrirci con il nuovo must-have.
